Keyman Update for 19 June 2026

New Anglish keyboards for Ænglish (Old English), along with several updates for Krung, Mara, Tham Lanna, MADHURÂH (SIL), Hindi Flick, Hong Kong, Punjabi Flick, and Arabic W/O Dots keyboards! In addition, these alpha releases focus on technical documentation for integration, guides, and provide logs for project validation in Keyman Developer. Keyman Update for 5 June 2026

This release cycle highlights the growing impact of Keyman through a community testimony, introduces new keyboards for Hanifi Rohingya, Madurese, Punjabi, and Bayot, and includes updates for Keyman for Windows and Web. Welcome five new contributors to the project, and Keyboard App Builder 14.2 releases with usability improvements and bug fixes, the Keyman community continues to expand support for digitally disadvantaged languages. Keyman Update for 8 May 2026

Keyman 19 alpha (224–228) fixes contextual help and caps lock in Windows. Three new keyboards: Khmer Traditional, Shanghai Telex, and poorigbelle for African Darfurain languages, and the Vietnam and Cantonese keyboards received updates. Welcoming one new contributor. Plus: Keyboard App Builder 14.0 with Android 16 support.

Keyman Update for 27 Mar 2026

Keyman 18.0.249-stable introduces support for complex words in predictive text within Keyman Developer, accompanied by a technical blog explaining the feature. This release cycle also includes Keyman 19 alpha updates with improved backspace behavior on macOS, along with several keyboard enhancements, including updates to GeezWord, Vietnam, EuroLatin (SIL), Baybayin, and Vai Typewriter keyboards thanks to contributions from the community.

Keyman support for ARM-based Windows

Keyman for Windows Alpha now includes native support for Windows on ARM (ARM64), allowing it to run seamlessly with native ARM applications on Windows 11 devices. Scheduled for the official Keyman 19 release in late 2026, this milestone improves compatibility for modern Windows hardware and marks another step forward for the project.
