Keyman Update for 28 August 2026

Major improvements on Autocorrect! These alpha versions bring localization on Windows, Linux, iOS. Keyman for Windows has support for PNG format icon, track caps lock state correctly. Keyman Developer fixes unsaved layer name, continue on kmc-convert. While, Keyman for Android and iPhone and iPad has new documentation on autocorrection. KeymanWeb enhances suggestion, memory-usage, and supports complex Latin-script languages. Improvements on the Laz keyboard. New Medžuslovjansky (latinica), Ligurian, Ntcham (AZERTY), and kachin keyboards! Don't forget about our 3 new contributors and another testimonial!

Keyman Update for 17 July 2026

In this sprint cycle (6-17th) of July, Keyman for Android, Linux, iOS, and Web bring significant bug fixes to alpha versions (19.0.252-258). Moreover, Android has one BREAKING CHANGE and KNOWN ISSUE. However, there is no keyboard or lexical model updates, but Keyboard App Builder 14.2 was released earlier this month! KAB brings new features and improvements, as well as bug fixes to the latest version. Don't forget about our biweekly testimony!

Keyman Update for 19 June 2026

New Anglish keyboards for Ænglish (Old English), along with several updates for Krung, Mara, Tham Lanna, MADHURÂH (SIL), Hindi Flick, Hong Kong, Punjabi Flick, and Arabic W/O Dots keyboards! In addition, these alpha releases focus on technical documentation for integration, guides, and provide logs for project validation in Keyman Developer. Keyman Update for 5 June 2026

This release cycle highlights the growing impact of Keyman through a community testimony, introduces new keyboards for Hanifi Rohingya, Madurese, Punjabi, and Bayot, and includes updates for Keyman for Windows and Web. Welcome five new contributors to the project, and Keyboard App Builder 14.2 releases with usability improvements and bug fixes, the Keyman community continues to expand support for digitally disadvantaged languages. Keyman 19 roadmap update

The March 2026 Keyman 19 roadmap gets a candid mid-year update. An internal review found 363 open issues still assigned to v19. ARM Windows and Mac installer support are on track; CLDR mobile keyboards are postponed. The team is down to 9 — contributions and donations are welcome.
