With the release of version 1.1 of our Syriac keyboard for keymanweb.com, Keyman for Android, and Keyman for iPhone and iPad, we've fixed an issue that was causing square boxes to appear when typing on Android or iOS devices. This was achieved by using Google Noto fonts, which is the only difference between version 1.1 and 1.0 of the keyboard.

If you have already downloaded this keyboard, Keyman for Android and Keyman for iPhone and iPad should automatically update the keyboard the next time you start the app.
