Keyman Update for 20 June 2025

This blog reports on significant Keyman product and keyboard development updates over the period from 09 June 2025 — 20 June 2025.

Keyman minor releases

Keyman 19.0.58 alpha through 19.0.66 alpha were released in this cycle.

Significant updates in these versions include:

• Keyman Developer
  • Fixed line numbers for LDML compiler and messages  (#14090, #14097, #14100 )
• Fixed bug in downloading of Keyman updates on Windows (#14095)

Keyboard updates

New keyboards

• The Dagaare keyboard is a QWERTY-based keyboard for the Dagaare language of Ghana (#3573). Applause to RyanCecil1.
• The Lavanya keyboard is a custom Telugu keyboard inspired by Lekhini, a browser-based transliteration tool. It’s created to overcome Lekhini’s limitation of working only within a browser (#3574). Credit goes to prashanth-lavinna.

Enhanced keyboards

• The Mingrelian Cyrillic keyboard v1.1.1 brings (#3570, #3572):
  • U+04AD, U+04D9, U+049F, U+0438 and casing pairs
  • Adjust mobile layout to support same character set
  • Add Catrinity font to support unusual characters
  • U+04A7 to longpress for K_P.
• Thanks to Cathaylaboratory for continuously improving:
  • The vietnam keyboard v1.0.8: fix bugs and add new keys (#3562).
  • The cantonese telex keyboard v3.0.2: update the alphabet and keyboard documentation, and optimize keyboard rules (#3575).

Keyboard App Builder updates

Keyboard App Builder 12.6 was released on 20 June 2025.
