Keyman minor releases

Keyman 17.0.329 stable was released in this cycle. There are a number of notable changes, including: 

  • Keyman Developer
    • Fix crash in debugger when Win+V pressed (#12182).
    • Ensure that version information is always available in published keyboards (#12206).
    • Ensure that package description is always filled out for deployment to Keyman Cloud (#12207).
  • Windows, Linux, and Mac
    • Prevent undefined layer states from emitting text with LDML keyboards (#12285).
  • Mac
    • Fixes a compatibility issue during Keyman startup on macOS Catalina (#12364).
    • Fixes a compatibility issue for running Keyman on macOS Big Sur (#12246).
  • Linux
    • Support custom fonts (and &displayMap) in onboard On Screen Keyboard (#12283).
  • Web (Android and iOS)
    • Ensure that keyboards compiled in debug mode load correctly (#12040, #12058).
  • Web
    • Prevent corrections from being offered when ‘corrections’ option is disabled (#12226).
    • Reduce size of info text on spacebar in keyboard documentation (#12240).

Keyman 18.0.103 alpha through 18.0.112 alpha were also released in this cycle.

Significant updates in these versions include:

  • Windows
    • New SIL Name and Logo integration (#12250, #12327).
    • Right-side modifier keys can now be used for keyboard hotkeys by selecting an option in Keyman Configuration (#12252, #12259).
  • Mac
    • Keyboard package information will now appear at the end of the keyboard installation process (#12326).
  • Android
    • New UI of font size menu for right-to-left text direction (#12290).
    • Access Longpress delay documentation within the app (#12359, #12367).
  • More Italian translation (#12408).
