With over 900 layouts available, plus 300 deprecated ones, the help page can be confusing to navigate. To make it more user-friendly, I suggest simply ordering the layouts by region. This approach would allow users to save time and make the page more helpful and faster to find the desired keyboards. The regions I propose using are the ones listed on unicode.org/charts, which are already used for organizing scripts. Ordering keyboards by region is more intuitive than ordering by script, and it avoids potential problems. By categorizing the 960+ keyboards into regions, the page would be easier to use. https://community.software.sil.org/uploads/default/original/2X/e/ef67c5923d53da2679c3f895a65ac9b2a791673b.jpeg

It’s a good idea, but it will be low priority for us because most users do not access the keyboard help by navigating through that page — they access it directly from the app. There’s actually a lot of complexity in organizing keyboards (e.g. where does an English keyboard go — Europe or North America?) and the keyboard search on keyman.com is the best starting point. The help keyboards page is really there to ensure that the documentation is indexed.

add categories to help page, with 900+ keyboards its impossible to navigate
