Keyman Update for 20 December 2024

This blog reports on significant Keyman product and keyboard development updates over the period from 09 December 2024 — 20 December 2024.

Keyman minor releases

Keyman 18.0.154 alpha through 18.0.162 alpha were released in this cycle.

Significant updates in these versions include:

• Keyman Developer
  • The kmc copy supports only the full GitHub URL (#12773).
  • Documentation on Language examples (#12805).
  • Fixes keyboard hint property in the displaymap (#12807).
• Keyman for iOS
  • Allows altering the height of the keyboard within the settings (#12571).
• Keyman for macOS
  • Fixes OSK to accurately display keyboard layers based on key presses of the physical keyboard (#12582, #12836).
  • Integration of the New SIL Global logo (#12766).
• Localization
  • More translation for Czech (#12792).
  • Further Italian translation (#12793).
