We are pleased to announce, after quite a break, a minor update for Keyman Desktop.  This update just fixes two bugs which a few customers have reported:

  • I3906: The Font helper can report less than 100% coverage when space or control characters are involved.   This means that when trying to find appropriate fonts, in some situations, the most appropriate font could be reported as having incomplete coverage, which could be confusing!
  • I3908: In some situations, Keyman Desktop could become confused as to the link between your Windows languages, and the installed Keyman keyboards, as configured in the Languages tab in Keyman Configuration.  Once this confusion occurs, switching the Windows language via the language bar would not switch the related Keyman Desktop keyboard either on or off.

Keyman Developer has three bug fixes:

  • I3904: Command line compiler needs to support login.  For those customers who are compiling keyboards for custom Keyman Engine-based products, the command line compiler would not allow you to specify your Tavultesoft login details, which made automation difficult.
  • I3905: If a file was missing from a Branding Pack product definition, the product compiler would crash instead of reporting the file as missing.
  • I3907: The keyboard compiler would not annotate store types correctly when compiling, so that system stores, and other internal store types (deadkey correlation, custom virtual keys, and more) could become corrupted in some compiled keyboards.

This is a recommended update for all Keyman Desktop and Keyman Developer users.
